	Donald E. Keller, Sr., age 79 of Marissa, formerly of Pinckneyville, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at 6:40 a.m. in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville.
	Don was born on March 7, 1925 in Pinckneyville, a son to Phillip and Winnie V. (McKinstry) Keller.  He married Dolly Lueker on July 17, 1946 in Du Quoin and she survives.  To this union was born four children.  He was in the Marine Corps during WWII, belonged to the Masonic Lodge and was a life long member of the First Pentecostal Church of Pinckneyville.  He retired from Peabody Coal Company River King Pit 6.
	Survivors include his wife, and children: Don Keller and wife Judy of Pinckneyville, Robert Keller of Newnan, Ga., Kathy Keller of Marissa and Charles Keller and significant other Trista Weaver of Rushville, Ill., three grandsons, one granddaughter, two step-grandchildren, one great-grandson, two sisters: Ruby Carney and Phyllis Keller, one brother: Maurice Keller and numerous nieces and nephews.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Alberta Bidwell.
	Funeral services will be held at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Friday, January 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Duane Bolinger officiating.  Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
	Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services.
	Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
